Abstract

The European Association of Urology defines a young urologist as an urologist under the age of 40 or the position. The time interval between the  residency and higher specialization in urology is an important time period for them to learn how to stand on their feet and realize their  plans of academic career. Young  urologists who want academic transition have encountered various problems nowadays in Turkey. The aim of this review is to raise awareness about the problems of young urologists during academic life in the context of law and medical ethics.
