ONLAY AND ONLAY –TUBE-ONLAY ISLAND FLAP URETHRAL RECONSTRUCTION WITH DORSAL PENILE SKIN IN ADULT CIRCUMCISED HYPOSPADIAS CASES

From November 1995 to January 2001 dorsal penile island skin flap is used to repair either onlay or onlay-tube-onlay manner in 9 adult circumcised hypospadias (6 midpenile, 3 proximal) cases. Ventral urethral plate secured in midpenile cases and onlay island flap was used to reconstruction of the urethra. Three of the midpenil cases were previously operated for hypospadias. On the other hand, in proximal cases, the plate was divided to correct chordee and onlay-tube-onlay island flap was used to repair hypospadias .In one of the proximal and one of the midpenil cases, complications arose which was required secondary interventions. No complications were observed in other 7 cases. Including the complicated cases, good results were achieved in all patients in the ending.
